My Parents'-Teachers' Day

My Parents' ~ Teachers' Day

Let me tell you all about my Parent-Teacher’s Day and how it unfolded. It was a mix of what I expected and some delightful surprises.

First of all, there were a few good comments that surpassed my expectations. It made me feel really proud of my efforts. On the other hand, there were also areas where improvement was needed, just as I had predicted.

I knew I had some areas of improvement needed but I did not take action on it. One thing you should know about me is that I like to have a good reason for doing things. So when my teacher asked me to work on certain aspects, it was a good enough reason for me.

It was also the first time my dad joined the Parent-Teacher’s Day, which made it extra special. Even though it was only my second Parent-Teacher’s Day, having my dad there made it even more memorable.

I was overjoyed to receive positive comments and recognition for my hard work. It was incredible to hear that my unique style shone through in my accomplishments. However, there was one area that required my attention — I needed to improve my punctuality and hand in my work promptly. It was not entirely my fault, though, as some of the IPC (International Primary Curriculum) classes were scheduled after lunch, and I am quite a slow eater!

Thankfully, the negative comments from the meeting did not affect me too much. My family understands that I have my own pace and they support me unconditionally.

I had wondered how the day would turn out, but in the end, it unfolded pretty much as I had expected (or at least most of it)!

So, that was the story of my Parent-Teacher’s Day — filled with moments of pride, areas for growth, and a dash of excitement.
