The Hardest Thing That I've Done
The Hardest Thing That I've Done
I want to share with you the hardest thing I have ever done. It was like diving into a sea of mixed emotions and swimming against a strong current.
Picture this: I had to make a presentation about the danger our
oceans are facing (I wrote a chapter earlier about that). It was a topic close to my heart, but it also made me feel scared, nervous, and very anxious. All those emotions were swirling inside me, like a whirlpool of thoughts and feelings.
I was really confused as these thoughts and feelings streamed into my mind, but deep down, I knew that I had to do it. It was not just a feeling so it could not get mixed up, and it was not exactly a happy thought either, so I could not scold myself for being happy.
It was a mixture of determination and care for our beautiful ocean. These two forces, working together in my head, helped me find the courage to push through. And guess what? Later on, I discovered that I was the youngest presenter when our art class teacher screened all our speeches together.
I was scared and I was even a little bit embarrassed. I worried about what others would think and say about my presentation. I was afraid of their comments and the possibility of hearing something negative.
But you know what? In the end, my classmates loved it! Their positive response reminded me of an important lesson. Whenever doubt creeps in and tries to stop me, I have to focus on the prize that lies ahead. It is not about the wait or the challenges along the way. It is about the incredible feeling of accomplishment and the pride that comes with it.
Now, I hope this story brings a wave of inspiration to your hearts. Remember, no matter how hard something may seem, keep pushing forward with unwavering determination. Ride the waves of challenges, knowing that the rewards are worth every effort.
With a heart full of courage and an ocean of dreams ~ Nicodidiary
